From: Daniel Steinert on 29 Apr 2010 10:53 Hi everybody, I am searching for the fastest CPU for xPC-Target 4.1 If my information is right, this version of xPC-Target is not able to use more than one core. Therefore I am searching for a CPU with the most per-core performance. At the moment I tend to use Intel Core i5 661 or Intel Core 2 Duo E8600. Both CPUs are DualCores, that's why I guess that they have a good performance per core. Does somebody know the fastest CPU for xPC Target, perhaps with some benchmarks? Is it better to buy a DualCore instead of a QuadCore CPU? The newer versions of xPC Target use multicore for background tasks. Perhaps I will use such a version at a later date, so the CPU should have at least two cores. Many Thanks!
