One last thing as I've been continuing to work here. Actually, as it currently
stands D.W. 9 is worthless to me and was a waste of money.

I have used D.W. from v3 up to v9. I just upgraded to a MacPro, 2.66, 5GB Ram,
AND CS3 including D.W. CS3. It runs slower than D.W. 8 did on my G4, Dual
1Ghtz, 768MB.

I do not understand how Adobe could come out with a product that runs so slow
and actually charge money for it. Luckily I can use Photoshop, InDesign,
Illustrator which run well on my Mac Pro. They should provide a free upgrade
for purchasers of D.W. CS3 when they come out with a newer version.

I am slowly coming to that conclusion to. But Unfortunately I lost my Dreamweaver 8 so I'm in a bit of a whole! Time to start asking for our money back me thinks!

Have any of you seen this? Made a huge difference for me. As soon as I turned
of Display External Files DW came back to life.

Good luck.

Thanks for that link. I did turn off Display External files and it DID speed
it up and that is good. BUT I can't see those images in my design view which
is not really acceptable from a "state of the art" program like D.W. is
supposed to be and that is still bad. With the multitudes of D.W. users in the
Mac community, I can't understand how or why Adobe doesn't get all over this
instantly and solve the problem.
