From: Henry on 25 Jun 2008 14:10 I know that this is not the forum, but I have a problem sending e- mails, which arrive as Spam, and maybe somebody here knows what to do? or where to look for an answer? Ths SpamAssassin code is CTYPE_8SPACE_GIF, and the description is "BODY: Stock spam image part 'Content-Type' found (8spc)". What does it mean? What can I improve, so ,my e-mails will not be received as Spam? Thanks Henry

From: Henry on 28 Jun 2008 04:47 Thanks for your help. Yes, I am sending one mail to myself, and this is how I get the Spam- code. The "BODY: Stock spam image part 'Content-Type' found (8spc)" is not clear to me. I don't know even what to look for. The attachment of the logo to the e-mail looks like: <p><a href="http://www.LuegenDetektor-Institut.ch/"><IMG height=77 src="C:\Poly\Logo\LogoMail2.gif" width=229 border=0></a></p> Where should I look for 8 spaces(?). Thanks for any help. Henry

Henry, Can you save the email as an xxxxx.eml file. Send it to me. I don't think you are looking in the right spot. I can take a look. Alternately, send the email to me at geoff @ soft ware objectives dot com dot au and I will see what it does in my spam filter. But clearly this is spam filter issue. It is just simpler to add this sender to the safe sender's list and do nothing else. All spam filters have their vagaries and weirdo issues. None are perfect.
