From: WCECS 2009 on 23 Feb 2010 09:13 CFP: The 2010 International Conference of Parallel and Distributed Computing (ICPDC 2010) From: IAENG - International Association of Engineers http://www.iaeng.org/WCE2010/ICPDC2010.html Draft Paper Submission Deadline: 6 March, 2010 Camera-Ready papers & Registration Deadline: 31 March, 2010 WCE 2010: London, U.K., 30 June -2 July, 2010 The conference ICPDC10 is held under the World Congress on Engineering 2010. The WCE 2010 is organized by the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), a non-profit international association for the engineers and the computer scientists. Our congress committees have been formed with over two hundred and eighty committee members who are mainly research center heads, faculty deans, department heads, professors, and research scientists from different universities like Cambridge, MIT and Oxford etc. The conference proceedings will be published by IAENG (ISBN: 978-988-17012-9-9) in hardcopy. The full-text congress proceeding will be indexed in major database indexes so that it can be assessed easily. Revised and expanded version of the selected papers may be included as book chapters in the standalone edited books under the framework of cooperation between Springer, America Institute of Physics and IAENG. The abstracts will be indexed and available at major academic databases. The accepted papers will also be considered for publication in the special issues of the journal Engineering Letters, in IAENG journals and in edited books. For reference, the recent IAENG post conference edited books include titles like for example: Trends in Intelligent Systems and Computer Engineering, Advances in Communication Systems and Electrical Engineering, and Advances in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research by Springer, and Current Themes in Engineering Science by America Institute of Physics. The topics of the ICPDC10 include, but not limited to, the following: High Performance Computing: Parallel Computing Supercomputing Cluster Computing Grid Computing Network Performance Network Optimization Network Management Network Security Distributed Computing and Systems: Distributed Computing Distributed Compilers Operating Systems Embedded Systems Real-time Systems Parallel I/O Systems Fault-tolerant Systems Distributed Databases Parallel Data Structures Distributed E-commerce Knowledge-based Systems PDC Algorithms: Algorithm Design Parallel and Distributed Algorithms Communication Algorithms Embedded Algorithm Genetic Algorithms Optimization Algorithms Multicasting Algorithms PDC Architectures Parallel Computer Architectures Parallel VLSI Design Re-configurable Architecture Resource Allocation Load Balancing Security and Reliability Modelling and Simulation And PDC Applications ========= Submission: WCE 2010 is now accepting manuscript submissions. Prospective authors are invited to submit their draft paper in full paper (any appropriate style) to WCE{at}iaeng.org by 6 March, 2010. The submitted file can be in MS Word format, PS format, or PDF formats. The first page of the draft paper should include: (1) Title of the paper; (2) Name, affiliation and e-mail address for each author; (3) A maximum of 5 keywords of the paper. Te name of the conference that the paper is being submitted to should also be stated in the email. It is our target that the reviewing process and the result notification for each submitted manuscript can be completed within one month from its submission. The reviewing process is to ensure the quality of the accepted papers in the WCE congress. The conferences have enjoyed high reputation among many research colleagues (for example, see the http://cs.conference-ranking.net/ or http://www.conference-ranking.com/). ============= ICPDC 2010 Conference Committee Dr. Aladdin Ayesh Senior Lecturer in AI and Robotics, director of Intelligent Mobile Robots and Creative Computing research group, Computer Science Department, De Montfort University, UK Dr. Khaled Benkrid Lecturer, School of Engineering and Electronics, The University of Edinburgh, UK Prof. Mietek Brdys Head of 'Decision Support and Control Systems' Network Research Centre and Director of Postgraduate Admissions, Department of Electronic, Electrical and Computer Engineering, The University of Birmingham, UK Professor, Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering, Dept. of Control Systems, Gdansk University of Technology, Poland Dr. Mary P W Chin Research scientist, Department of Medical Physics, Velindre Cancer Centre, United Kingdom Dr. Frank Devai (co-chair) Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Business, Computing & Information Management, London South Bank University, United Kingdom Dr. Arshad Jhumka Lecturer, Department of Computer Science, University of Warwick, UK Professor Antonis Kokossis (PhD Princeton, FIChemE, FRSA; co-chair) Professor and Director, Process and Information Systems Engineering, University of Surrey, United Kingdom Prof. Layuan Li Professor, Department of Computer Science and Technology, Wuhan University of Technology, China; Editor in Chief of the Journal of Wuhan University of Technology Dr. Ali Shahrabi Lecturer, School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, Glasgow Caledonian University, UK Dr. Robert John Walters Lecturer, Declarative Systems and Software Engineering group of School of Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton, UK Prof. Hsiang-Fu Yu Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, National Taipei University of Education, Taiwan ============= WCE Congress Co-chairs Prof. Alexander M.
