Woo, you've seen it? Does it describe the Tudor shuffle?

I think there's a reference copy at the Bodlean, but it's out of print,
isn't it?

They're deposited in a bank vault in Mornington Crescent!

Ah, the Tudor Shuffle. A move of such devious cleverness with a hint of
audacity to it is surely one to behold!

Alas, the merest flicker of the index was all I was allowed at the
time, however I understand the Tudor Shuffle is fully described in the
fifteenth suppliment; "Shuffles and 101 other side-step moves when the
cross diagonal is blocked" by Scrommins and Boggle.

Very probably. They usually are. 'tis the nature of the beast I'm afraid.

I lived for a short while near Kentish Town in the late '90s and
commuted every day on the Northern Line past Mornington Crescent. At
the time it was closed for major refurb so I never actually got to stop
there (more's the pity).

I wonder if those tapes are cemented beneath the tiles?
