Currently I am not able to process the RAW [files .orf files] from my
Olympus E-PL1 on my Mac OS X platforms. Is there anyway to get the
plugin or whatever it is Apple uses to process specific RAW. I am not
able to process the .orf files in iPhoto or in Aperture 3. It is my
impression that what I need to process the new .orf files is part of a
system upgrade? I think I understand that if I were using Adobe
products [Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Lightroom] I would not have
this problem.

The E-PL1 is a different camera.

Adobe Photoshop does not yet support E-PL1 RAW files:

Wait perhaps a couple of months or so and there should be an update
supporting the E-PL1.

Then you should have the option to convert to DNG and process the RAW
files with a multitude of RAW converters.

Even dcraw does not yet support E-PL1 RAW files:

You could mail an E-PL1 RAW image to Dave Coffin and ask him if he can
add support. Not 100% sure, but dcraw perhaps can convert to DNG.

I already checked Camera RAW plugins for the Adobe products and found
it listed. I downloaded the trial version of Lightroom and it
supports it. ... I just want my Aperture to support it to :(... I
don't need to pay for another app.
