The free version works more like a removal tool than an active protection program, so there won't be much chance for conflict. ....but I'm sure MS could find a way :oD ***

I'm using the paid version of MBAM, along with McAfee that Dell provided me on my newly purchased windows 7. I hesitate to remove McAfee and use MSE. I suppose it's six of one and half a dozen of the other, but since I do have this 3-year subscription to McAfee, I think I'll keep it. Anyway, is it OK to use both? So far I haven't seen any problems, other then I get a message occasionally from MBAM that site IP 125.65.112.168 has been attempting to access my computer, and that it is malware so it has been blocked. I googled that IP, and the site is located in China. So, I suppose it is a good block, unless it is a Dell employee. :) "FromTheRafters" <erratic @nomail.afraid.org> wrote in message news:O7dWaujkKHA.5020(a)TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > > "n o s p a m p l e a s e" <nospam.please(a)live.com> wrote in message > news:4de14504-1211-484a-a58f-a5118e5bacd5(a)v25g2000yqk.googlegroups.com... > On Jan 10, 3:41 am, "FromTheRafters" <erratic @nomail.afraid.org> > wrote: >> "n o s p a m p l e a s e" <nospam.ple...(a)live.com> wrote in >> messagenews:fcdff8a1-e224-4bb1-8a97-e9581c9179da(a)35g2000yqa.googlegroups.com... >> >> > My OS is Vista Home Premium.
