See Subject. Actually, my interest is in updating non-linear models
whose data might be collected in batches. None of it is time related in
the sense of observations occurring in a time ordered sequence. It's a
situation where it takes hours to collect and build the model, then have
new information available at a latter point. However, one may not want
to begin again with all data collected to that point, but incorporate
the new data to what was formerly constructed.
