Well, the subject IS my question.

I currently use 2009 Deluxe and want to convert to 2010 Deluxe. My wife has
some old 2005 and 2006 files she hasn't used for a while. I want to
uninstall Qkn 2005 and 2006 as well as 2009 before installing 2010.

What kind of problems should I expect?

Thanks.

I am not sure but I doubt they will convert directly. Quicken does
offer old versions for "trial" periods pretty much so you can do
things like convert old files. I think you just download the trial
version, and upgrade in steps.

I'm pretty sure 2010 Quicken can convert '05 & '06 files directly.
Just give it a try.

Tried it. Successfully converted 2005 and 2006 files to 2009 (except for one
2005 file for which my w... er, the file's owner... forgot the password, as
she had not used the data in ages. Too bad.

Thanks to all.
