From: Logo on 24 Feb 2010 03:24 I'm having a heck of a time creating a monthly report for work. It has to sum daily values and group them as monthy totals. It also will show fees that are received once a month. I created a subreport for these fees but they need to blend in with the other data. How do I get the subreport's results to line up with the main report ones? TIA for any help... -- Logo
From: Duane Hookom on 24 Feb 2010 08:47 How about creating a main report based on the monthly fees and a subreport of the daily values? From: Logo on 24 Feb 2010 21:30 Well then I would have a problem getting the daily values from the subreport to line up with the monthly fees in the main report. With the subreport's boundaries (ruler on top and sides) I don't see how its possible to align the textboxes from the report and subreport in the same row? -- Logo "Duane Hookom" wrote: > How about creating a main report based on the monthly fees and a subreport > of the daily values? > > Duane Hookom > MS Access MVP > > "Logo" <Logo(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:2967C40E-1C23-431A-BCCA-C659D37EEED4(a)microsoft.com... > > I'm having a heck of a time creating a monthly report for work. From: Logo on 24 Feb 2010 23:36 I figured it out! I created a textbox in the main report and placed it where I wanted it, then in its properties under Control Source I clicked the "build" button and made the value in the subreport its Control Source. Then I highlighted the subreport and in its properties under "Visible" I chose no. Voila! Exactly what I wanted! -- Logo "Logo" wrote: > Well then I would have a problem getting the daily values from the subreport > to line up with the monthly fees in the main report. > > With the subreport's boundaries (ruler on top and sides) I don't see how > its possible to align the textboxes from the report and subreport in the same > row? > -- > Logo > > > "Duane Hookom" wrote: > > > How about creating a main report based on the monthly fees and a subreport > > of the daily values? > > > > Duane Hookom > > MS Access MVP > > > > "Logo" <Logo(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > > news:2967C40E-1C23-431A-BCCA-C659D37EEED4(a)microsoft.com... > > > I'm having a heck of a time creating a monthly report for work.
