From: Gary Phillips on 8 Feb 2009 16:07 I can't get IIS to install on my Windows XP SP2 Thinkpad. I had installed SP3 and then got the subject error message when I tried to install IIS. When I tried to install IIS, I was asked to insert the Windows XP Service Pack 3 CD and points to the following location to copy files from - "c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386" I did this but still got the subject message when I tried to install IIS. I then unistalled SP3 but still get the subject message when I tried install IIS. I also tried the fix of Integrating SP3 into my Windows XP installation CD. But the result ws still the same when I tried to install IIS - got the subject error message. How do I fix this VERY frustrating problem! I must have IIS to run a Web application. Please help.
