I'm trying to install IIS on a windows 20003 server R2 with service pack
2. Every time it stops at the same point and prompts me with...

"Setup cannot copy the file convlog.exe. Ensure that the location
specified below is correct, or change it and insert 'Service Pack 2
CD-ROM' in the drive you specify."

I have tried pointing it to the I386 directory on the install CD. I have
tried reinstalling SP2 and then running the IIS setup again. All to no
avail. It always stops and prompts for that same file. I'm frustrated.
Any ideas for me?

Thanks.
Chad

Hi,

I realize it's a bit late. Did you ever solve this issue. We ran into the
same problem yesterday.

I found the convlog.exe by extract windows 2003 service pack2, but after
finding that file it searches for various other files, that i cannot locate.

Anyways your help would be greatly appreaciated.
