From: Daryl Muellenberg on 20 Mar 2010 13:15 I have a project on a Vista 64 bit machine that I just transfered from an XP system. When I try to make the exe, it tells me that the license information for this component is not found and I don't have the appropriate license information to use it in the design environment. Unfortunately the message does not say which component it is. The strange thing is that I can run the program in the design environment and all screens are funtioning ok, I even started it with the full compile option and everything seems to be working fine. I also brought up each screen in the environment and don't get any errors that a control couldn't be loaded. So I'm stumped as to what control is causing the problem. Anyone have any ideas on how to find what control doesn't have the license (but yet will allow me to run in the enviornment, just not make an exe). TIA
From: Daryl Muellenberg on 20 Mar 2010 13:41 Never mind - I ended up creating a new project and one by one I added in the components from the original project and finally narrowed it down (of course it was the last one in the list). Just wish the error message would indicate the component that it is complaining about.
