From: smgordon on 24 Mar 2010 12:25 So after a brief, but totally unsatisfying, stint trying out Outlook 2010 beta I had to go back to using Outlook 2007 w/ BCM. After finally getting my backups restored in Outlook 2007, I've noticed that I can no longer access the attachments on any of my emails. I can see the icon, but I can't open it. Double clicking doesn't do anything and neither does right clicking on the file. I can't access the attachment in the preview pane or if I open the email. Outlook doesn't throw any errors, it just won't open the attachment. HELP!

What didn't you like about Outlook 2010? Did you "send a frown" while testing it? Beta software from Microsoft often has a "Send a Smile/Frown" applicaiton that gets installed at the same time. It did for me with Office 2010's beta. I was able to report those things I thought Microsoft did correctly and those things I think they did incorrectly, along with screen shots showing the items. > After finally getting my backups restored in Outlook 2007, I've noticed that > I can no longer access the attachments on any of my emails. How did you create your mail profile and how did you connect those PSTs to that profile > I can see the icon, but I can't open it. Have you used SCANPST on the PST? -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]
