From: Frank Greco on 7 Feb 2010 01:20 I hooked up my new HP 8500 printers/scanner/fax to my wireless lan. My two Windoze XP boxes had no problem. Everything checked out. My new iMac with Snow Leopard can print and fax, but when I scan, I get a "Sorry, an unknown error occurred"... Very Windoze like error. I downloaded the new drivers from HP, but I still get the same error. Anyone have any suggestions? F

Open Preview and pull down File -> Import from Scanner. You can delete all the HP stuff. -- m-m http://www.mhmyers.com
