From: Barry555 on 7 Jun 2010 06:50 I moved a client from a standalone server running Exchange 2003 (on Windows Server 2003) on to a new server running Exchange 2007 (on Windows Server 2008 as part of Microsoft's Small Business Server 2008). Since then, the client haven't been able to email ANY .nhs.uk clients (they could before the upgrade). ALL my client's other non nhs.uk clients (and there are 1000s!) are fine - it is just all .nhs.uk clients that are affected. My client's DNS records haven't changed. Their SSL certificate has changed from mail.client.co.uk to remote.client.co.uk. Their IP address is unchanged. Looking at Queue Viewer (within Exchange Managament Console) the following error message is shown: 451 4.4.0 Primary target IP address responded with "421 4.4.2. Connection dropped." Attempted failover to alternate host, but that did not succeed. Either there are no alternate hosts, or delivery failed to alternate hosts. If I look at an email sent to me by client on the old server (Exchange 2003) the email Internet Header has: Received: from clientexchange.client2003.client.co.uk ([217.204.123.123]) An email sent to me from the new server: Received: from remote.client.co.uk ([217.204.123.123] ) I did contact the NHS as I know they use grey-listing, but they said the problem is at my client's end. I tried telnet (telnet mail.nhs.uk 25) from the client's network and got the following: 220 rlmh07.swi.contact.secure-ops.net ESMTP Mirapoint 3.8.3-GA; Fri, 28 May 2010 12:05:36 +0100 (BST) ehlo client.co.uk 250-rlmh07.swi.contact.secure-ops.net Hello clientltd-2.dsl.easynet.co.uk [217.20 4.123.123], resetting message state 250-8BITMIME 250-SIZE 28049408 250-DSN 250-ETRN 250-AUTH LOGIN 250-AUTH=LOGIN 250 HELP mail from:client(a)client.co.uk 250 client(a)client.co.uk...
