From: KMikaela on 16 Feb 2010 11:15 I have now had a wm6 device for over a year, and really like to connectivity, but while you can turn reminders on and off for specific appointments, you can't change the reminder options themselves for the appointment. For example, for Anniversaries, Birthdays and all other all day appoitments, while I would like an on screen reminder, I don't want an audible alarm at midnight on the day of the event. Is there a way to tweek the registry for facilitate a change to all "All Day" appointments? Is this something that will be addressed in Windows Mobile 7? Many thanks.

The Events view should show you all-day events. If you add the Reminders field to the column header and group by that field, you sould be able to select all of the all day events and drag them to the "Reminders: No" group. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]
From: KMikaela on 18 Feb 2010 07:56 Thank you so much for your reply, but I would like to change the options in Windows Mobile Outlook, not the desktop version. I've tried turning off the sound in the desktop version, but the sound still plays on my phone. I would like to see the "When the reminder is due play this sound" dialogue box in Windows mobile, is this possible? There may be people here who use Windows Mobile (i'm one), but it's out of scope. Frankly, I doubt you can change Windows Mobile's behavior. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
