Hi,

I've been looking for the easiest/quickest way to change some huge databases
from log shipping to mirroring. (SQL Server 2005 & 2008) I really need to
avoid the database backup for the initial mirror setup, if possible, since
some of these databases are so large. Can it be done or is the db backup
absolutely required to initiate the mirror even though the two databases are
'synced' with logging?? What I've tried didn't work.
