From: ArcticFox on 19 Feb 2010 00:10 I created a Word 2007 document with a number of web addresses in it - all in black text. I accidentally "clicked" on one of the addresses and it changed from black to purple. I cannot change it back to black!! This should be very simple - change text color! How is it done?
From: Suzanne S. Barnhill on 19 Feb 2010 00:43 Purple is the color applied by the Followed Hyperlink character style. It would appear that you may have redefined the Hyperlink character style (or removed it from the hyperlinks), but that doesn't stop them from displaying the Followed Hyperlink style after they've been followed. You can modify that style also or realize that if you close and reopen the document, the format will revert to the Hyperlink style. -- Suzanne S.
