From: Nigel King Nigel on 2 Feb 2010 11:51 Having been fine this morning, just tried to use word and I find that some of the keys when pressed type the wrong character. Specifically, the problem is with the keys towards the right side of the keyboard - the last three or four columns down. Others work normally. Any ideas?

Nothing to do with Word. With no details, it's hard to guess what's going on. Some possibilities: - you have a laptop with no numeric keypad, and the function key that turns a group of keys into a virtual numeric keyboard has been pressed - you have a laptop with built-in international language support, and the function key that turns that feature on has been pressed - a software keyboard other than the one you're accustomed to using is installed on your computer, and you've switched to it by pressing Shift-LeftAlt.
