I have a variable containing an EPS file and would like to copy it to
the clipboard on a RedHat system so that it can be pasted into an
openoffice write document. If I save it to a file and import from the
file all is ok, is there any way to copy this eps to the clipboard so
that the transfer is a simple paste in writer ?

If I copy the EPS in openoffice I cannot ask TK what is the type of
object in the clipboard. I think it is probably a bitmap type.

If anyone has managed this or has any pointers.

RHEL 5 using tcl 8.4.19
