The issue started just after I installed MS Office Live add-in; once I uninstalled this the Excel.delete function began working again, even after invoking a save. I guess saving triggers something in the 'Live add-in software that takes over the Excel process (perhaps?) and therefore disallows the Excel.delete function from completing successfully. Smarter folks than me can figure out the specifics; I'm just glad to have gotten rid of the issue. |
