Hi,

I'm trying to turn on code folding for some of my .m files, but I can't get it to work. The strangest thing is that it IS turned on and WORKS FINE for some other .m files. Both the file in question (i.e. that can't get code folding turned on) and one of the files in which it works are classdef files. In matlab preferences, Code Folding is turned on and many of the boxes are checked. Closing and reopening the file does not help. Closing and reopening Matlab does not help. In the Text->Code Folding menu, everything is grayed out for the broken file but looks fine for the other file. The hotkeys (ctrl-.) do not work on the broken file. More than one file is broken. In general it seems that my very longest files are the ones in which code folding does not work - could be a coincidence - if not, this is a very ironically undesirable feature for code folding!

Any help much appreciated,

Nick
