Apparently, CodecGuide has removed links to QuickTime Alternative and QT
Lite (and RealAlternative) ?

don't work anymore. You get a 404 error and there's no address to
contact the webmaster.

Does anybody know what this is about? Is there no more support for
QuickTime Alternative and QT Lite?

I know that link (even got it bookmarked), but that's not the question.
I want to know if support for QuickTime Alternative and QT Lite is
dropped. Would be a real shame IMHO...

I don't ever recall visiting that site to get those programs. I always
went to:

I do as well, but I was under the impression that the original software
came from Codec Guide. I even think I remember them having new versions
available /before/ freecodec.com/free-codecs.com.
