I am unable to locate the section I need to add a commandbutton to excel
worksheet. Where can I find this at?

Type the word:-

button

- into the F1 Help Facility and hit Search.

The first topic that is displayed is called:-

Add a button or command button to a worksheet

Go into the above topic.
