CIS is growing up!

No more crapware!

Version 4.1.149672.916 is smooth and stable, and fixes many issues.

The firewall module is one of the best, if not the best out there.

The anti-malware module is very strong. I don't see how anyone could
get infected while using it, unless they're half asleep. It can get a
little tedious until you train it.

The AV is good, and getting better. It has one of the faster scanners
I have used.

The Sand Box is for the paranoid ones among us, and it works. I like
the Explorer extension, "Run in Comodo Sandbox".

All modules can be turned off and on. You can even opt to not install
some, though I can't imagine why you would. I would guess it's smaller
and lighter than any 4 combinations of FW, AV, AM, and SB.

I can say without a doubt CIS is the best all-in-1 Freeware security
solution out there. OK, granted, it's the *only* one! :)

Thanks for the review Bob.

Yes, the AV definitions in the early betas were weak, and Comodo
warned you about it.

It's now stronger than some of the more popular free AV programs, and
comes reasonably close to Symantec and Kasperski.

If all 3 parts of the suite are used, I don't think any other security
software is needed. I think it's strong enough for even the most
paranoid of users. I use it with only medium security settings, and I
don't see how anything could get past all 3 applets.
