From: Troyw on 31 May 2010 13:03 Regarding the Exmerge portion of your post, the problem the Exmerge 2GB limitation comes from the fact that Exmerge only supports the ANSI format which has a 2GB limit. Further regarding Outlook 97 - 2002 Personal File Folders (PST Format) only supported the ANSI format and for that reason a PST can be no larger than 2GB. Outlook 2003 forward uses the UNICODE format which supports PST files up to 20GB. Alternatively you might try checking out Lucid8's DigiScope product http://www.lucid8.com/product/digiscope.asp since it allows you to do everything that Exmerge does and more. (Like opening offline EDB's, Searching for specific messages, undeleting items, purging items, etc). Oh and DigiScope supports both ANSI and UNICODE Formats -- Troyw ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Troyw's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/226950.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/small-business-server/1341938.htm http://forums.techarena.in
From: Russ SBITS.Biz [SBS-MVP] on 31 May 2010 16:53 Superfly, The original Threads was posted on a SBS newsgroup Using TechArena, is why it shows up broken thread. (And was broken.) Why? Techarena copies this from microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs newsgroup Which is the original source. (to get money from advertisements on the site.) Since this nntp forum and all Microsoft Public NNTP forums will be closing at the end of this year. Tech Arena, will no longer be able to copy posts... Which is great, because then we won't have the confusion of what is happening now. :) The new Web Based Public SBS forum can be found at. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/smallbusinessserver/threads When This Group is shut off by Microsoft the we site above will be the new interface... I hope this helps Thanks Russ -- Russell Grover - SBITS.Biz [SBS-MVP] MCP, MCPS, MCNPS, SBSC Remote Small Business Server/Computer Support - www.SBITS.Biz BPOS - Microsoft Online Services - www.Microsoft-Online-Services.com "SuperFlyBoy" <SuperFlyBoy.4btlpd(a)DoNotSpam.com> wrote in message news:SuperFlyBoy.4btlpd(a)DoNotSpam.com... > > Andrew Rinaldi;4964123 Wrote: >> Russ SBITS.Biz [SBS-MVP] wrote: >> > >> > Yup >> > >> >> I can find no record of this in our CRM.
