From: Ruben Varela on 15 Apr 2010 16:20 Okay, I figured it out. My hostname was my domain. ruben(a)domain.tld:~$ uname -n domain.tld ruben(a)domain.tld:~$ hostname domain.tld ruben(a)domain.ltd:~$ hostname --fqdn domain.tld I changed this to server.domain.tld ruben(a)domain.ltd:~$ sudo hostname server.domain.tld and then tried sending emails and this fixed it. Afterwards, I changed the file /etc/hostname to reflect the hostname change so it would be reflected on reboots. I hope this helps someone else. -- Rubén O.
