From: Paul Miller on 14 Jan 2010 15:56 Hello Everyone, My company is in the process of developing a conjoint analysis of side effects associated with a particular type of chemotherapy. The analysis will involve an assessment of how much people are willing to pay to avoid or treat some side effects and so I believe that it will require the use of "contingent valuation methods." At this point, I have 4 questions: 1. Am I likely to be right about the choice of method or would I be better off adopting some other approach? 2. Can/should I do the sort of analysis that is needed using SAS or would I be better off using something like Sawtooth software? 3. If SAS is a good choice for the analysis, will I likely need to purchase additional components of the program (e.g., IML) to do the work? 4. What kind of documentation is available to help me learn to do the analysis? Thanks, Paul __________________________________________________________________ Looking for the perfect gift?
