From: Paul Miller on 18 Jan 2010 09:34 Hi Mark, =A0 Yes, I'm familiar with the book and=A0once read=A0the chapter=A0called "Con= joint Analysis."=A0I recall that when I worked through the examples, I coul= dn't run some of the code (e.g., the %MktEx macro). If memory serves correc= t, the thing I was lacking was Proc IML.=A0This is why I asked the question= about needing to buy extra components of the SAS system.=20 =A0 We have something called Sawtooth software here. I'm going to look into usi= ng this as an alternative to using SAS. =A0 Thanks, =A0 Paul =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 --- On Thu, 1/14/10, Mark Miller <mdhmiller(a)gmail.com> wrote: From: Mark Miller <mdhmiller(a)gmail.com> Subject: Re: Conjoint analysis of chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting = using the Contingent Valuation Method To: "Paul Miller" <pjmiller_57(a)yahoo.com> Cc: SAS-L(a)listserv.uga.edu Received: Thursday, January 14, 2010, 4:04 PM Paul, Have you looked at the 1165 page tome by Warren Kuhfeld at SI (MR-2009) Marketing Research=A0 Methods in SAS =A0(Experimental Design, Choice, Conjoint, and Graphical Techniques) January 1, 2009 SAS 9.2 Edition Primary tool is Proc Transreg (part of SAS Stat) http://support.sas.com/techsup/technote/mr2009.pdf ....Mark Miller On Thu, Jan 14, 2010 at 3:56 PM, Paul Miller <pjmiller_57(a)yahoo.com> wrote: Hello Everyone, My company is in the process of developing a conjoint analysis of side effe= cts associated with a particular type of chemotherapy.
