have you tried removing and reinstalling flash.
use their uninstaller from their web site.

have no problems with flash. am using the latest available from theie web site.
w7 rtm 64 bit.

of course you know that flash is only 32 bit.

Did some testing last night, removed flash and the crashes seems to stop (no flash sites obviously) reinstalled and the problem returned. Definitely flash related as IE x64 gives me no problems at all.

Hi, David.

Flash has given me no trouble on Win7 Ultimate x64 - except the well-known
problem that it will not run in 64-bit IE8.

You probably know about the Adobe TechNote on this subject, but just in
case:
Flash Player support on 64-bit operating systems
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/000/6b3af6c9.html

In short, Adobe will not run in a 64-bit browser, but it runs fine in 32-bit
IE8 on 64-bit Windows.

But I don't know how that impacts the problem you are having.

I'm aware of that yes, that's why IE x64 isn't crashing on me (on the same
websites), no flash. Some Googling indicates I'm not alone with this
problem, just no solution.
