From: Dane D. Sayers on 30 Jan 2009 12:16 Hello ABC(a)Gmail.com! Thank you for your posting in the Navision newsgroup. I understand that you wish to copy data, including transaction details, from one company to another . Is this correct? You were correct in that the Copy Data function would not be able to pull over the transaction details to a new company. The functionality of Copy Data from the Setup Checklist was to help users set up a new company in a quick manner. Therefore it will mainly only copy "Setup Data" from generic tables. LucVanDyck(a)discussions.microsoft.com had mentioned a viable solution for this situation. Will the backup / restore of the database appeal to you here? Should it not, I can continue my research and see what I can find for you. Let me know what you think! Look forward to hearing from you! Have a great weekend.
