I also note that duirng a quick web search "coreldraw for linux" does
come up.. I didnt delve any deeper.

I personally use gimp for graphics processing.

have you tried GIMP and Inkscape yet?

(i loved Corel Draw back on Win3.1 running in Warp, now i do my
graphics on open source GIMP and Inkscape...there are others also)
