Speaking from half-ignorance, CLIM is an unusual beast. It contains many good ideas, but the current mess should die. Said differently, all useful CLIM implementations must make significant deviations from the standard. Furthermore, its design is rather heavyweight, requiring most things to be done "the CLIM way". - Daniel |
