When scrolling through a document, my 'Ctrl+arrow right' key jumps forward
the entire word however recently my 'Ctrl+arrow left' key will NOT jump back
the entire word. How can I correct this???????????

Something, maybe an add-in, has disabled the shortcut. To put it back,
use the procedure in
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/AsgnCmdOrMacroToHotkey.htm
to reassign the Ctrl+Left shortcut to the WordLeft command.
