It's a well-worn part of Ye > Olde Debugging Disk. :) I plan to use both. MS Winsock control for Windows 9x, and SocketWrench freeware for Windows 2000+. I think the rollup is deployed to Windows 2000+ via automatic updates(not sure of the OS version), so Windows 9x shouldn't be updated, unless someone extracted the files and used them in an installer. I don't have many Windows 9x users, and if they complain, I just send them the SP5/6 version.
