From: Andy on 8 May 2010 06:34 I have recently been having trouble burning videos to DVD. I thought the burner may be faulty so I added a second, new one, which is worse than the original burner. The new burner will burn videos but then not play them. The underneath of the disk has the typical darker section indicating the area has been written, but in Windows Explorer the disk shows as empty, no files on it. Yet the video will play in the other burner, although it takes a long time to spin up. The disk burning process appears to burn OK with the 'Finalising' message at the end but when played in a DVD player an error message, 'Incorrect Disk - C104', is displayed. The .vob files in the Video folder created by the software 'TMPGEnc DVD Author' play perfectly on the computer, with menus showing. So it seems that something is going wrong in the burning process. This is a recent problem as I have burnt many videos in the past without any problem. I have added 3 new 1TB (unpartitioned) drives to my PC and transferred the video files across to them. Could this be the cause of the problem? Any advice appreciated. TIA Andy

The problem seemed to start when I installed the 3rd 1TB hard drive last week. Worked OK when there were only 2 1TB drives. I have now disconnected the 3rd drive but the problem exists.
