From: juanpablo on 12 Apr 2010 14:22 Hello, Im using data validation to enter information from a list of company addresses. Can someone associate a name for example for a certain address and copy it to the next cell, everytime someone selects that specific company address???
From: trip_to_tokyo on 12 Apr 2010 14:33 EXCEL 2007 Juan, please check out:- http://www.pierrefondes.com/ Item number 93. 1. If you copy the formula in cell Sheet1 cell B6 down a few cells (say B7 to B10). 2. Now put 200 or 500 or 600 or 400 in any of cells A 7 to A 10 and the corresponding cells in column B will be completed. The, "conversion table" is found in Sheet 2. If my comments have helped please hit Yes. Thanks. From: trip_to_tokyo on 12 Apr 2010 15:29 Juan, it still works for alpha as well. Quick example. Sheet2 A2 put A Sheet2 B2 put Apple Now in Sheet1 A2 put A and it will pull back Apple in cell B2. Just play with the rest of the data and you should find it gives you what you want. If my comments have helped please hit Yes. Thanks.
