For several days, desktop has been showing my selected image for only about a
third of the area - flush left - with the rest of the area blank white. I've
tried going to "Desktop," "Customize," "Restore Default," but that doesn't
help. Suggestions?

Try asking in a newsgroup for your O/S. It's not an Outlook issue.
