From: Scott Noone on 5 May 2010 12:03 You used to be able to get it via MSDN, though I just checked and couldn't find it. Probably gone for good. -scott -- Scott Noone Consulting Associate OSR Open Systems Resources, Inc. http://www.osronline.com "Mahboob" <Mahboob(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:60150DE3-9058-4275-A176-080AF79070C8(a)microsoft.com... > Where can I get debug (chkbuild) version of Windows XP? From: Mahboob on 6 May 2010 13:20 In MSDN download there is debug version of XP 64, but no XP. I need debug version of pci.sys. We need to see what happens when we have 64 bit PCI BAR and PAE bit is off. Seems such devices cause proble. Where did you get debug version of ndis.sys? May be debug version of pci.sys and other drivers will be available there too. Thank you. Well if you need the checked build of PCI.SYS you need the checked HAL and kernel also. Unfortunately, when Microsoft repackaged XP SP2 they did not do the same thing for checked OS, so they dropped the complete checked system. They do have the service pack files for XP SP2 and XP SP3 on their site, you may find that these contain the pieces you need (be sure the base OS matches).
