I'm using both Virtual-Box and Virtual PC. The problem with the dynamic VHD is it can expand automatically. But cannot shrink automatically. 1 I'll just run an utility names "sdelete" which wil be available for free download. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897443.aspx Usage: sdelete -c -c Zero free space (good for virtual disk optimization). 2 The is an option available in virtual PC File -> VirtualDisk wizard ->Edit an Existing VHD. Select the location of the VHD and Select Compact it. I think this post will be useful for you. Excuse my English. Thanks.
