From: Mike Einhorn on 8 Mar 2010 09:38 Hello, For a particular project I would like Project to use an alternate rate table for a resource. Instead of editing the Cost Rate Table for each task can I somehow set a default for the whole project? Thanks, Mike Einhorn

Cost rate table information only applies to assignments which are viewable on either the Resource or Task Usage views. Unfortunately there is no default setting to do what I think you want. It could be done with a VBA macro but other than that I think you're stuck with manual entry for each assignment. John Project MVP
From: Jan De Messemaeker on 8 Mar 2010 13:54 Hi, In resource usage view, show the cost rate table column, set the appropriate CRT for the first assignment of the reosurce, then drag this value down for all the resource's assignments.
