Hello,
I have a situation where the user's default printer is not the default when
they login to Terminal Server. The printer is an HP LaserJet 2200 that is
connected to the network via a print server. The Terminal Server is Windows
2003 SP2 and the client is XP SP3.
When the user logs on to Terminal Server the printer is replicated but does
not show up as the default when she tries to print. The user is logging in
to TS strictly accessing an application. She does not log in & use her TS
desktop. I have logged in to her TS desktop (profile) & set this printer as
default from there as well as on her local machine.
There are other users of that printer, Terminal Server, and application that
have no such issue.
Can anyone help?
Thank you in advance for any info that might help solve this mystery!

On the TS server, check the RDP connection properties. I can't remember
where, but I think there is a setting to make user mapped printer the
default...
