From: Microsoft on 10 May 2010 07:17 Same problem in safe mode. Also, I have noticed that the calendar has the same problem. Any change, addition or deletion of an appointment reverts to the previous state after restarting the program. I'm desperate. What else can I do? From: Microsoft on 10 May 2010 07:43 OK, I just found a solution. I have to wait 20 seconds after making the changes before closing the program. That way the changes stick. Isn't it weird? Outlook 2007 and 2010 take somewhat longer to close completely than prior versions and that's by intention. More happens during shutdown than in prior versions, like closing out add-ins when necessary (although the extra functions are not limited to that).
