From: Israel Hilerio [MSFT] on 21 Oct 2009 02:01 After having my SBS system working fine for about 2 months I'm started to get the License compliant errors for about 1 month. I only have 1 SBS server in my network. The FSMO roles are on my SBS server and the only other server I have, a win2k server, is acting as a file server. It is not a AD Controller, DNS Server, or DHCP Server. The errors I'm getting are: --The Additional Server Count Check detected a condition in your environment that is out of compliance with the licensing policy. This server will be automatically shut down if the issue is not corrected in 169 day(s) 5 hour(s) 0 minute(s). Please look for additional events for Additional Server Count Check to troubleshoot. --The Additional Server Count Check in the Licensing component did not pass because error 0x8007200a occurred in function f1031 [BWHO]. The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist. Make sure that your DNS server can be contacted and the following services are running: Active Directory Domain Services (NTDS), DNS Server (DNS), Kerberos Key Distribution Center (KDC). This server will be automatically shut down if the issue is not corrected. After going through my event logs, I noticed that I've been getting the following errors since I completed my migration from our win2k to the SBS 2k8 (2 months back). Not sure if they are related to the problem above but thought it might be good to include: --Task Scheduler failed to start Task Engine --Task Scheduler failed to start "\Microsoft\Windows\CertificateServicesClient\UserTask --Diagnostic module {c0f51d84-11b9-4e74-b083-99f11ba2db0a} (%windir%\system32\radardt.dll) encountered an error while handling scenario {739ff6cf-5033-428c-9e2f-582096482dd5}, instance {72b51bcf-469e-402f-aa5a-d3588223a37d}, original activity ID {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}. The error code was -2147023888. --Diagnostic module {c0f51d84-11b9-4e74-b083-99f11ba2db0a} (%windir%\system32\radardt.dll) encountered an error while handling scenario {739ff6cf-5033-428c-9e2f-582096482dd5}, instance {c853d0c0-befa-4b98-a5bd-b575e49ae11b}, original activity ID {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}. The error code was -2147023888. Any ideas what might be causing this problem? Thanks! -- This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
