11.3 comes officially with KDE 4.4.4.
KDE 4.5 was already in rc2 stage and now it's gone.

The repo is beyond 4.5 already although it should be officially out
from KDE in August.

Is this some puppy rescue team trying to save puppies or
is there a place anywhere to keep up with 4.5?

KDE have a repo for Mandriva and they have of course the sources
available. Neither is my thing.

For once I was looking forward to a stable major release of KDE.
This is so unfair :(

I don't find the answer there.
I have now the first one on that list:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/UNSTABLE:/Desktop/openSUSE_11.3/

That is the one that went towards KDE 4.6 (already 4.5.6)

The next one on the list, the Community one
is behind it, obviously it's not something they picked where
factory left it.

If this one would be on its way forward to 4.5 it should have rc2.

The last one is somehow broken but it doesn't seem to be the one
advancing to the final 4.5 either.

I tried the unstable kde for openSuSE 11.3 on my Eee netbook (32-bit), and
it's totally buggy. Better don't waste your time with it. The kde 4.4.4 from
the stable branch works fine, except some trouble with mailing lists in
kmail.

Yes, it is now, as it went on towards 4.6.
Although I haven't tried 32 bit.

The funny thing is that 4.5 was in rc2 stage and the final 4.5 should be
out in August. The rc2 was quite good here.

Now we suddenly went past all that.

I rolled back to that since the unstable went south.
Don't know about kmail, never used it.
