From: Louis Vitiello Jr. on 26 Jun 2006 14:15 Greetings, A client has had a distribution list for about a week. Today the distribution list results in an error upon trying to open: Can't open this item. There is not enough memory available on the Microsoft Exchange Server computer to perform this operation. Contact your System Administrator. I know there are size limitations on distribution list, and I forwarned my client. Her statement from the incident was: "I was adding names and then it told me it was out of memory, so I deleted the last two entries so I could start a new list with people's last names begining with M. I saved the list and now I can not open it". If she went over her limit I can understand, but is there a way to split the list so it can be opened without having to re-enter all the data again? Or is there a way to edit the Exchange Server to allow larger Distribution List? Thanks, -- Louis Vitiello Jr. MCSE +S, MCSA, MCP, A+/N+ ERCP XP Pro / Net Concepts

From: Louis Vitiello Jr. on 26 Jun 2006 14:25 Fixed the problem. I Exported the DL to a backup.pst file, then deleted a few more entries and copied the DL back up to their Public Folders. Recreated the entires on another DL. All works fine now.
