If you are interested in copyrights in the United States of America,
they actually have a pretty good website at http://www.copyright.gov/
In particular the copyright basics document (http://www.copyright.gov/
circs/circ1.pdf) or FAQ (http://www.copyright.gov/help/faq/) are quick
and informative.

It is important that this is valid:

� 2010 YourNameHere, All Rights Reserved

As is this:

Copyright (c) 2010 YourNameHere, All Rights Reserved

but not this:

(c) 2010 YourNameHere, All Rights Reserved


IOW, if you're going to use (c), do not omit the fully spelled out word
"Copyright".

The � was not present in some fonts of other languages.
