From: Jim Thompson on 9 Aug 2010 12:41 Does this type of "hook/latch" exist? http://www.analog-innovations.com/SED/BarStockClamp.pdf I want to push a piece of bar stock into it and have it latch in place. Light load... maybe 2-3 pounds. ...Jim Thompson -- | James E.Thompson, CTO | mens | | Analog Innovations, Inc. | et | | Analog/Mixed-Signal ASIC's and Discrete Systems | manus | | Phoenix, Arizona 85048 Skype: Contacts Only | | | Voice:(480)460-2350 Fax: Available upon request | Brass Rat | | E-mail Icon at http://www.analog-innovations.com | 1962 | I love to cook with wine. Can you think about turning it 90 degrees and using more like a hanger? If so it's a "rail hanger": e.g. http://www.amazon.com/GENERATION-44150-SINGLE-RAIL-BRACKET/dp/B000H5MOUW/ref=pd_cp_hi_0 Tim.

It's for hanging trolley rail (e.g. for barn doors) and the rail is likely way bigger (1.75" x 2.25") than what you need. But better to overbuild than underbuild. e.g. Tiny Stonehenge in Spinal Tap: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xlf5ucFanpY Tim.

Sometimes I even put it in the food. I wonder if you can adapt something out of the Newton Instrument Company catalog: Maybe this one, see page 260? http://www.enewton.com/pdfs/Newton_F_Hardware.pdf
