Hi list,

We had an incident yesterday where both of our domain controllers were
rebooted at the same time, when the domain controllers came back online
both had set their firewall into public mode. So we were unable to ping
or RDP the servers.

Looking on the web I found some information stating that a domain
computer would only switch to the domain firewall profile if it could
"see" a domain controller.

So with this in mind is there a way to force the firewall always to load
in either domain, network or private mode so that this situation of the
DC cutting itself off will never happen again.

Anyone any ideas?

Thanks

Steve
